I took my fourth graders swimming on the last day of school and that reminded us that the adjacent park has a large pond with plenty of birds to feed. So we packed up some stale bread and braved the rain to feed the ducks. The geese purturbed, by getting awfully close, but thankfully did not assail us in any way (look at Sarah's face as they approach in the picture below). The girls had fun feeding the ducks, especially the ducklings! And Isaac was all smiles! So we came away with several great candid shots of the kids while making the most of a rainy afternoon.
Sarah was afraid that I was going to be accosted by these geese.
