Old Sac.

Another sunny day in CA

Our afternoon in Old Sac began at Joe's Crab Shack. Here are pictures (courtesy of Rod) of all of us trying some crab.

Kate may not have been trying to eat any crab, rather she was attacking everyone she could with her crab claw. I've got a hole in my sleeve to prove it.

This next picture was just after Rod recieved the bill. Yeah, the eyes teared up a bit. Just kidding - and if I really know how to kid both of us should be laughing right now. Ha, ha, ha. Thanks for lunch Mom & Dad!

Candy Heaven

You enter a candy shop and you think that your kids would be entranced by all the different kinds of treats the place had to offer. Not my Audrey. She was very worried about the display on the wall (that's what she's pointing at - see the picture below) and spent the majority of her time asking the store staff about it.

Kate on the other hand knew exactly what to do - Eat some candy!

These picture were taken at Evangeline's gift shop. Audrey and Kate loved this place and couldn't keep their hands off all the easy-to-reach merchandise. Even after the adults had had their fun it was tough to pull the girls away.

Audrey, my perpetual princess!

Kate and Dad, checking ourselves out in the fun house style mirror.

This would be an excellent post to add comments to. Let us know who you think is best dressed in their glamorous glasses. To make this totally biased, I'm voting for Rod!

Rod - the "cross-dressing british dame" look.

Sarah - "Take me to your leader Earthling."

John - "I'll drink to that!"

Sheryl - Marid Gras glam girl.

"Remember to vote early and vote often."

Here we are showing off our head wear of choice. Kate appears to be having a "balancing" issue.

We finished the afternoon getting a historic family portrait at McGee's Old Time Photos. The service wasn't great, but we had fun getting dressed up. We couldn't get Kate to smile and I couldn't seem to muster one up either - c'mon, it's supposed to be the Old West. Of course, as soon as the camera quit and we'd undressed, Kate was up on the set, smiling away, ready to take some photos!
