From One of Our Favorite Authors
I've asked James Dashner, author of the Maze Runner series, several times, via Facebook, who one of the main characters is named after. I happened to ask it once again on a day he was blogging. See his answer in the picture below. It always feels good to get an answer (especially from an author you enjoy)!
