Rio Mesa

GIS/GPS

I was invited to this year's Rio Mesa GIS experience at the University of Utah's remote research site, about 50 miles outside of Moab. Consider it a Fall GEEK Camp for adults. Our project was mapping indigenous ant species via GPS and using a program called ArcGIS to map it. It was an interesting event and many friendships were formed.
